An illustrated short story about Gaucamelon world, a fictional place full of all manner of strange and wonderful characters.
Meet Albert Sniplock, proprietor in chief of Gaucamelon World.
Albert Sniplock sold fruit at the side of a grey motorway. That is until the Great Colour Explosion of 1956 rippled through the earth, leaving in its wake a new world full of endless possibilities. Snapped out of his dreary existence by a world now in full colour, he is inspired to start a new business venture, Gaucamelon World. As Albert's business empire grows, it begins to house a variety of weird and wonderful characters, including a troupe of acrobats, a sea lion and a family of not so fearsome crocodiles.
Gaucamelon World is a place where you are never quite sure is it is 2023 or 1956. Or anywhere in between for that matter. Perhaps it's just not constrained to the limits of time and space.
